With five weeks to go before the Ypulse Youth Marketing Mashup Conference in San Francisco June 1 and 2, Ypulse founder Anastasia Goodstein announced the return of the Totally Wired Teachers Award.
The deadline for nominations for the award, which is sponsored by Dell, is May 15th, 2009, at 5 p.m. PST. Entries – through the Ypulse Youth Marketing Mashup site – must be a U.S. public school classroom teacher (grades 3-12). Note: teachers can self nominate!
The idea is to honor the teacher who best leverages technology and interactive platforms to engage with students.
Representatives from Ypulse and Dell will select three finalists and choose this year’s recipient after finalists’ phone interviews. (This is a revival of the 2007 award presented during the first national Ypulse Youth Marketing Mashup.)
All three finalists will receive an IT solution from Dell to use in their respective schools. The winner will be honored at the event in San Francisco!
