We have been super busy at Modern Media, working on the launch of TWTRCON, the first and only conference about Twitter as a platform that companies can use to engage customers, influence opinions and activate markets. TWTRCON will take place May 31 at San Francisco’s Hotel Nikko.
The response to this new project has been overwhelming. The speaker line-up includes
rapper/actor MC Hammer, Top 100 Twitterer and angel investor Guy Kawasaki, Virgin America CMO Porter Gale, Intuit’s advertising and internet director Seth Greenberg, Edelman Digital’s SteveRubel, renowned futurist Paul Saffo, and more being added every day.
We are producing the event in partnership with Harry McCracken of Technologizer and the team at business accelerator First30 Services. I am thrilled to be co-hosting with New York Times bestselling author Gina Smith.
TWTRCON SF 09 will focus how companies can leverage Twitter and associated applications fortheir businesses. In recent months, Twitter has very quickly attracted a critical mass of users and buzz. What’s really interesting, however, is that companies are finding they can use Twitter for business applications such as marketing, sales, customer service, product development and others.
Our goal at this event is to bring the case studies from leading edge business adopters to life, find out what the challenges and rewards were and help attendees determine the best Twitter business strategy for their company.
We only have room for 200 attendees, and this promises to be a very sought-after event. You can get more details and register at twtrcon.com.
